This page sets out important honest notes about the information published on baliteakfurniture.com.
General information, not legal or trade advice
Everything on this site — including guidance on teak grades, moisture content, export documentation, HS classification, payment terms and import procedures — is general information for buyer education. It is not legal, customs, tax or professional trade advice. Import rules, duties and standards differ by country and change over time; verify current requirements with your own customs broker and authorities before ordering.
Legal timber (SVLK)
We work with workshops that supply legal, documented teak. Indonesia operates the SVLK timber-legality system, and legal teak typically ships with V-Legal / FLEGT documentation; FSC-certified teak is available on request at a premium. We do not claim certifications we do not hold and we describe plantation versus reclaimed teak honestly.
Pricing is indicative
FOB prices, MOQs, lead times, CBM and container counts shown here are indicative ranges (FOB Indonesia) for planning only. Final pricing is always by written quote for your specific specification, finish and quantity.
Teak grades are banded
Teak grade descriptions (Grade A kiln-dried, Grade B, reclaimed) are banded, industry-style descriptions. Because teak is natural solid timber, grain, colour and small dimensional tolerances vary between pieces; samples and a written specification define exactly what your order will be.
Sourcing role
We act as an independent sourcing and quality-control desk and may earn a sourcing commission on referred orders. This does not change the indicative information above.
